Motion Bay — ambient awareness, on iPhone
Motion Bay turns your iPhone into a glanceable landscape display that answers three questions at once: where you are, which way you are heading, and what is around you. Walk, ride, drive, cycle. One screen shows a live compass ribbon, a radar of nearby points of interest, gauges (speed, g-force, altitude, tilt), your full address, a solar clock, and a front-and-rear dashcam that records continuously.
It is not a turn-by-turn navigator and not just a dashcam; when you want directions it hands off to Apple Maps. Everything runs on-device — no account, no analytics, no tracking; only a few features send your approximate location to map and weather providers. Core features work offline. Requires iPhone on iOS 16 or later.
